SummitCited exists because of a gap we kept finding: excellent local businesses — licensed, 5-star, fully booked — that AI engines never name. We measure that gap with screenshots, close it with disciplined execution, and report the movement every month. This page is how we work and what we refuse to do.
SummitCited is a Utah County generative engine optimization (GEO) and SEO firm that gets local service businesses recommended by AI search engines. We audit exactly how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI answer your customers' questions, then fix the inputs those engines actually read: your Google Business Profile, your reviews, the directories they quote, your site structure, and your structured data. Every finding is verified live with screenshots and reported monthly — and we never guarantee a ranking.
Because we don't have client reviews yet, and we won't invent them. SummitCited is a young firm. Our entire product is exposing thin, inconsistent, and fabricated digital records — the day we paste a fake five-star quote on this page is the day we become the thing we audit.
So the proof we publish is the kind we can produce on demand: a real audit of a licensed, 5-star Utah County roofing contractor, run live in July 2026, that found the company named in zero of ten AI buyer answers — every question screenshotted, name withheld out of respect for a business that deserved better from the machines. And the depth behind that number: our research on that one company traced a federal contractor registry, a duplicate directory listing, an unclaimed review profile holding sixteen 5-star reviews, and an industry award the company had never used — assets doing zero work because nothing connected them.
When client results are publishable, they'll appear here — with the same standard of proof we apply to everything else: screenshots, dates, and numbers you can check.
Five rules, applied to every engagement. They cost us business occasionally; they're also the reason the work holds up.
Every audit finding, every monthly monitor run — captured live with timestamps. If we can't show it, we don't claim it.
AI answers vary run to run and no engine sells placement. We sell verified snapshots, execution, and measured movement — and put that in writing on every page.
Your monthly report re-runs your own baseline questions: named in X of twelve, up from Y. If it's not moving, your report says so before we do.
Audits, site builds, profile overhauls, directory submissions, monitoring — done directly, not resold to a white-label vendor. That caps how many clients we take at a time.
Month to month after setup, and everything we build — your site, your profiles, your listings — is yours outright. The monthly report is how we earn the next month; a contract shouldn't have to do that job.
Because we don't have client reviews yet, and we will not invent them. SummitCited is a young firm whose entire product is exposing thin and fabricated digital records — publishing fake proof would make us the thing we audit. The proof we publish instead is a real, screenshotted audit finding, anonymized to protect the business. When client results are publishable, they will appear here held to the same standard.
No. SummitCited does one thing: getting local service businesses named in AI answers, through generative engine optimization and the local SEO that feeds it. We don't sell branding, video production, or ad management as standalone services — paid lead campaigns exist only as an add-on for existing clients whose numbers justify them.
SummitCited is based in Utah County, Utah, and serves the county's cities from Provo and Orem to Lehi, Spanish Fork, and Payson. Audits and monitoring are run remotely, so businesses outside Utah County can be served as well.
A limited number at a time, because the work is done directly rather than passed to a white-label vendor. Audits, site builds, profile overhauls, directory submissions, and monthly monitoring all come from the same hands — capacity is the honest constraint.
